September 29–October 2 – The New England Alliance is pleased to announce the Restore and Revive Conference which will be held at the D. L. Moody Center, 36 Winchester Rd., Northfield, MA. Speakers include Heidi Baker, Chuck Pierce, R. T. Kendall, and Paul Jehle. CareNet Rhode Island has Volunteer Opportunities for LPN/RN Nurses & Sonographers for Harmony Women’s Care Center medical program. Both positions require a current/valid RI license. New England Advocacy Services (NEAS) is a RI 501(c) 3 non-profit organization supplying service and support to victims of abuse, domestic violence, and more. NEAS is looking for 10 volunteers to be available 4 to 5 times per month so victims who have been In abusive situations do not have to face their abuser alone in court. TEEN SUICIDE PREVENTION AWARENESS The Samaritans of Rhode Island will hold several free informational workshops throughout the state on teen suicide prevention awareness for parents and caregivers. Participants can learn the warning signs and what to do if a family member or friend threatens suicide, and learn about resources available to help. No registration needed. For dates and locations, v
